Family-owned sushi restaurant in the heart of Nevada City since 1995.

Toki and Kumiko Kidera opened Sushi-Q to spread Japanese cuisine —mainly sushi— to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in a time when sushi was still not well-known.

The menu consists of a large variety of traditional nigiri sushi and contemporary sushi rolls. Sushi can be paired with our extensive selection of beverages including Sake (Japanese rice wine) and Shochu (Japanese “vodka”).
